Spiritual Grounding

Working in the mainstream film and television industry, which is very secular, can offer challenges when it comes to the content, language used by some, ethics and fair treatment of others. This is where a solid spiritual grounding is important as it provides a deeper perspective when working within such environments.

Some things that still provide a connection with my faith and fellow crew members, cast and others in the arts, include:

  • Performing weddings
  • Offering relationship sessions that help each party understand the work-life balance needs and perspectives of their mate, especially in 12-hour days and six day week schedules.
  • Giving last rites when requested
  • Blessing productions and the team members before the work begins
  • Providing spiritual and procedural help to families after the loss of a loved one.
  • Offering blessings over those who are ill or may be concerned about possible illness.
  • Infusing a caring expression of humanity in all of my personal and business
  • Sharing helpful and inspirational resources.
